Platinum Boxing & Fitness Celebrates a Memorable Tournament: A Triumph for South African Boxing Clubs
Kimberley, 28th October 2023 – Platinum Boxing & Fitness is thrilled to announce the successful completion of an unforgettable open boxing tournament on October 28th. The event brought together some of the most talented fighters from across South Africa, showcasing the very best of our nation’s boxing talent.
The day began with the highly anticipated Youth Championships, featuring young boxers vying for glory in their respective weight categories. These up-and-coming athletes displayed impressive technique, agility, and heart, leaving spectators excited about the future of South African boxing.
Throughout the day, fighters from all regions displayed their passion for the sport, pushing themselves to new heights and inspiring onlookers with their dedication and heart. In the end, deserving champions emerged victorious, but it was clear that every fighter had won something far more valuable – a sense of pride, camaraderie, and belonging that comes only from being part of such an incredible community.
The energy and excitement only grew, culminating in a thrilling finale featuring a women’s bout that captivated the audience. This match showcased the incredible talents of our female boxers, proving once again that women’s boxing is an emerging force to be reckoned with.
